Zusammenfassung
-
1.
Summary
-
1.
Central and reflex excitations of the sympathetic nerve cause different hemodynamic effects in the peripheral vessels. In this process the change of circulation in the extremities after central excitation of the hypothalamus corresponds to the effect of adrenalin in the vessels.
-
2.
The relaxing of bronchial spasm, which may be demonstrated in dog by means of central excitation of the hypothalamus, may still be proved also after intersection of the splanchnic nerves.
-
3.
A direct determination of the proportions of adrenalin and nor-adrenalin in the incretion of the suprarenal glands has shown that, in the case of a reflex excitation of the sympathetic nerve, in consequence of a relaxing of the pressure in the carotid sinus of the animal subjected to vagotomy, the total quantity of the incretion increases twofold to sevenfold compared with the stage of rest whereat the proportions of the quantities of adrenalin and nor-adrenalin remain unchanged. The central excitation of the hypothalamus leads to an increase in the total quantity of catechol and to a relatively strong increase in the proportion of adrenalin.
-
4.
Under extreme conditions of circulation a reflex excitation of the sympathetic nerve may be released also by the chemoreceptors.
-
5.
As to the extent of the pressor and depressor reflexes, which originate from the carotid sinus, the stage of excitation of hypothalamic centers is decisive.
Résumé
-
1.
