On the solution of the problem of three fixed centres

Abstract

For a special choice of the initial conditions a solution of the plane restricted problem of four bodies i.e. the problem of the motion of a passively gravitating material pointP attracted according to Newton's law by three fixed point massesP 1,P 2 andP 3 has been obtained.
