Summary
The author describes the efferent innervation of the human pectoral gland (skin, sudatory glands, smooth musculature, blood-vessels, galactophoric ducts, mammary acini) by means of a nervous syncytium. There are no free terminations and this formation releases the nervous influx by means of a chemical mediator. The mammary acini are sparsely innervated.
