Zusammenfassung
-
1.
Summary
-
1.
In the case of normal dogs narcotized with pernocton asphyxia causes a reversible increase in the capacity of the serum to promote phagocytosis. The capacity for bacteria of the surviving leucocytes of rats was determined byWright's method. The possibility of evaluating the results is confirmed by statistical calculations.
-
2.
After a ligature of the suprarenal veins on both sides, the capability of the serum to promote phagocytosis resulting from asphyxia decreases reversibly.
-
3.
After having put the suprarenal bodies out of function along with a simultaneous extirpation of the pancreas and a subdiaphragmatic vagotomy, respectively, the above mentioned capacity of the serum resulting from the asphyxia remains unaltered.
-
4.
This phenomenon is connected with the function of the sympathico-adrenal (Cannon) and the vago-insular (Gellhorn) systems.
Résumé
-
1.
