Zusammenfassung

Thiocaprolactam (T) eignet sich zur Goldbestimmung im Konzentrationsbereich 10 bis 130 μg Au/ml mit einem Fehler von ±0,5μg. Thiocaprolactam bildet mit [AuCl₄]⁻ eine Verbindung im molaren Verhältnis T∶Au∶Cl=1∶1∶2, mit [AuJ₄]⁻ im molaren Verhältnis T∶Au∶J=2∶1∶3. Dagegen bilden sich im System T:Au:Br zwei verschiedene Verbindungen: Ein Bromidkomplex mit höherem Goldgehalt T∶Au=1∶2, der mit Chloroform extrahierbar ist, und eine sich als Niederschlag ausscheidende Verbindung mit dem Verhältnis T∶Au∶Br=1∶1∶2.

Thiocaprolactam (T) is suitable for the determination of gold in the concentration range 10–130μg Au/ml with an error of ±0.5μg. Thiocaprolactam yields with [AuCl₄]⁻ a compound in the molar ratio T∶Au∶Cl=1∶1∶2, with [Aul₄]⁻ in the molar ratio T∶Au∶I=2∶1∶3. On the other hand various compounds result in the system T∶Au∶ Br. The molar ratio in the case of the bromide complex has a higher gold content, namely T∶Au=1∶2; this product is extractable with chloroform and a compound that comes down as a precipitate shows the ratioT ∶Au∶ Br=1∶1∶2.
