Papierchromatographische Trennung und Identifizierung von Benzidin und seinen Isomeren

Zusammenfassung

Es wird eine papierchromatographische Trennung von Benzidin und seinen Isomeren, die bei der Umlagerung von Hydrazobenzol entstehen, beschrieben. Am besten bewährte sich mit Formamid vorbehandeltes Filtrierpapier und Cyklohexan als Lösungsmittel. Zum Nachweis der Verbindungen am Papier wurden Farbreaktionen mit p-Dimethylaminobenzaldehyd und nach dem Diazotieren die Kupplung mit N-α-Naphthyläthylendiamin verwendet.

Summary

A paper chromatographic separation is described of benzidine and its isomers, which are formed during the rearangement of hydrazobenzene. The best results were obtained with filter paper pretreated with formamide and with cyclohexane as solvent. The compounds on the paper were identified by color reactions withp-dimethylaminobenzaldehyde or by diazotization followed by coupling with N-α-naphthylethylenediamine.

Résumé

On décrit une séparation chromatographique sur papier de la benzidine et de ses isomères qui se forment par transposition de l'hydrazobenzène. Les meilleurs résultats ont été obtenus avec un papier filtre préalablement traité par la formamide et avec le cyclohexane comme solvant. Pour identifier les combinaisons sur papier, on a utilisé les réactions colorées avec le p-diméthylaminobenzaldéhyde et, après diazotation, la copulation avec la N-α-naphtyléthylènediamine.
