Summary
The application range of the hydrogenation method for determining aliphatic double bonds has been investigated on both the micro-scale and the macro-scale. The wide range of compounds examined included aromatic compounds. A new method has been developed for the determination of very low unsaturation. Hydrogenation is carried out in prehydrogenated dimethylformamide in a special vessel.
