Abstract
A generalization of the well known Bogolyubov-Zubarev method is used to obtain an averaged kinetic equation for a rarefied plasma located in a strong magnetic field and an hf field of quasimonochromatic wave packets. It is shown that the characteristics of the averaged kinetic equation coincide with the averaged equations of motions of a single particle in the corresponding approximation.
