Zusammenfassung

Die Reaktion von morpholin-N-dithiocarbonsaurem Morpholinium mit Gold ist zur UV-spektrophotometrischen Bestimmung kleiner Goldmengen geeignet. Der Einfluß von Fremdionen wurde untersucht und das Verfahren statistisch geprüft. Eine Arbeitsvorschrift zur Goldbestimmung wird angegeben; die Störung begleitender Ionen kann durch vorherige Mitfällung des Goldes mit Tellur als Spurenfänger größtenteils ausgeschaltet werden. Die Methode wurde an sieben Industrieprodukten geprüft.

Summary

The reaction of morpholine-N-dithiocarboxylic acid morpholinium with gold is suitable for the UV-spectrophotometric determination of small amounts of gold. The influence of foreign ions was investigated and the procedure tested statistically. A method is given for determining gold; the interference of accompanying ions can be eliminated to a high degree by prior precipitation of the gold with tellurium as trace collector. The method was tried out successfully on seven industrial products.
