2,3-diphenyl-1-indanone fluorometric analysis of amino acids

Summary

Fluorometric analysis of amino acids is accomplished by the synthesis of the furan derivatives of sulfoindonyl amino acids. The assay is determined at an excitation of 365 nm and an emission of 484 nm. Quantitative analysis of the amino acids can be achieved at concentrations as low as 10−9 M. Supporting evidence for the synthesis of the amino acid derivative is demonstrated from mass and infrared spectra.

Zusammenfassung

Die fluoreszenzanalytische Bestimmung von Aminosäuren läßt sich im Wege der Herstellung von Furanderivaten der Sulfoindonylaminosäuren durchführen. Die Probe wird mit UV-Licht (365 nm) angeregt, wobei Fluoreszenzlicht der Wellenlänge 484 nm emittiert wird. Aminosäuren können so bis zu 10−9-m Konzentration bestimmt werden. Die Zusammensetzung der synthetisierten Aminosäurederivate wurde durch Massenspektren und IR-Spektren belegt.
