Thiourea as reductimetric standard: Standardisation of iodine containing oxidants

  • Published:
Microchimica Acta Aims and scope Submit manuscript

Summary

Thiourea has been proposed as a reductimetric standard. It has been used for the standardisation of some iodine containing oxidant solutions. The new method possesses significant advantages over the iodometric method which is generally used for the standardisation of these oxidants.
