Micro test for the detection of water split off by heat

Summary

By means of a paper strip impregnated with cobalt chloride the splitting off of water (50μg or more) on heating a compound may be detected.

Eine Methode wird beschrieben, das beim Erhitzen eines Stoffes abgespaltene Wasser in Mengen von 50μg oder mehr mit Hilfe eines mit Kobaltchlorid imprägnierten Papierstreifens nachzuweisen.

Résumé

Suivant la méthode décrite, il est possible de déceler à l'aide d'une bande de papier imprégné de chlorure de cobalt le départ d'eau (50μg ou plus) par chauffage d'un composé.
