New method for the spectrophotometric determination and characterization ofN,N-dialkylanilines, diphenylamines and carbazoles using 5-nitroisatin

N,N-Dialkylanilines react with 5-nitroisatin chloride to give a bluegreen chromogen with a characteristic absorption spectrum. Aniline andN-alkylanilines give an essentially negative test. Determination ofN,N-dialkylanilines and diphenylamine and carbazole derivatives is possible.

Zusammenfassung

N,N-Dialkylaniline geben mit 5-Nitroisatinchlorid eine blaugrüne Färbung mit einem charakteristischen Absorptionsspektrum. Anilin undN-Alkylaniline geben Absorptionsspektren, die nicht zu Verwechslungen führen können. Die spektrophotometrische Bestimmung vonN,N-Dialkylanilinen, Diphenylamin und Carbazolderivaten ist möglich.

LesN,N-dialcoylanilines réagissent avec le chlorhydrate de nitro-5 isatine pour donner un chromogène vert-bleu dont le spectre d'absorption est caractéristique.
