Summary
The ammonium salt of glycinedithiocarbamic acid has been prepared for the first time and a report is given of the reactions of this compound with cations at three PH values.
The reactions of bismuth and copper are applicable for the colorimetric and spectrophotometric determination of these elements. By means of suitably chosen complexing agents, bismuth can be determined in the presence of large amounts of copper and lead.
Addition possibilities for using this reagent are given. A report on these will appear later.
