Mikrochemische Schwefelbestimmung nach einer Destillationsmethode

Zusammenfassung

Es wird über ein Verfahren zur Bestimmung anorganisch und organisch gebundenen Schwefels berichtet, das auf der Oxydation zu Sulfat und dessen Umsetzung mit Metaphosphorsäure beruht. Die freigesetzte Schwefelsäure wird abdestilliert und nach Entfernung störender Kationen mittels Ionenaustauscher volumetrisch mit Bariumperchlorat gegen Thorin als Indikator bestimmt.

Summary

A report is given of a procedure for determining inorganic and organic bound sulfur; it is based on oxidation to sulfate and reaction of the latter with metaphosphoric acid. The liberated sulfuric acid is distilled off and determined titrimetrically with barium perchlorate after the interfering cations have been removed by ion exchangers. Thorin is employed as indicator.

On communique un procédé de dosage du soufre dans les composés organiques et minéraux, reposant sur l'oxydation en sulfate et sur sa réaction avec l'acide métaphosphorique. L'acide sulfurique libéré est séparé par distillation, et après élimination des cations gênants sur échangeurs ioniques, dosé par Volumétrie au moyen du perchlorate de baryum en présence de thorin comme indicateur.
