Summary
Monitoring NO2 in air in the concentration range 0 to 3,2 mg/m3 by a Technicon Autoanalyzer is described. The analytical process is based on the photometric determination of an azo dye formation, as reported bySaltzman. The apparatus used is simple. Absolute calibration of the procedure with NO2-air-test gases, however, is complicated. The sensitivity of the method can be increased by further modifications of the apparatus.
