Summary

The use of “Teflon” joint links between combustion tube and absorption tubes gives a tight connection without lubrication and obviates the need of wiping or other cleaning of the tubes between the analyses.

Schliffverbindungen aus Teflon zwischen dem C-H-Verbrennungsrohr und den Absorptionsröhrchen geben ohne Fetten eine dichte Verbindung und machen es möglich, die Röhrchen zwischen den Analysen ohne vorheriges Abwischen oder anderweitiges Reinigen direkt zu wägen.

Résumé

L'emploi de joints de «Teflon» entre le tube à combustion et les tubes à absorption donne une connexion hermétique sans graissage et évite la nécessité d'essuyer et de nettoyer les tubes entre les analyses.
