Zusammenfassung

Die elektrolytische Herstellung dünner Uranoxidschichten bei Verwendung von Natriumfluorid als Elektrolyt wird beschrieben. Die Untersuchungen befassen sich mit der Ermittlung der optimalen Elektrolytkonzentration, von der die Dauer der Elektrolyse stark abhängt, und zeigen auch den Einfluß des Volumens und der Uranmenge selbst auf die Abscheidung; so können Schichtdicken mit maximal 400μg U/cm² erzeugt werden, wobei die beschriebene Apparatur die Herstellung von Präparaten bis zu 6 cm² Größe erlaubt.

Summary

The preparation of thin layers of uranium oxide by electrolysis by means of sodium fluoride as electrolyte is described. The studies dealt with finding the optimal electrolyte concentration, on which the length of the electrolysis is greatly dependent; they also show the effect of the volume and of the amount of uranium itself on the deposition. Layer thicknesses corresponding to 400μg U/cm² were produced. The apparatus described permitted the production of preparations up to 6 cm².

On décrit la préparation électrolytique de couches minces d'oxyde d'uranium, en utilisant le fluorure de sodium comme électrolyte. Les recherches ont trait à la détermination de la concentration optimale de l'électrolyte, de laquelle dépend fortement la durée de 1'électrolyse; elles montrent aussi l'influence du volume et de la quantité d'uranium elle-même sur le dépôt. On a pu préparer ainsi des couches avec une épaisseur maximale de 400μg U/cm²; en outre, l'appareillage décrit permet la réalisation de préparations dont les dimensions atteignent 6 cm².
