Summary
Adopting the prerelativistic point of view, classical field equations and jump conditions are derived from balance laws in space-time by introduction of the Galileian group. Since the same interaction model between electromagnetic field and continuous matter is used as in the relativistic treatment of Part I, field equations are obtained which can be compared with their relativistic counterparts. A Lagrangean formulation and slow motion approximation is given.
