Abstract
The effect of the excitation density on the temperature suppression of the radioluminescence of single crystals of ZnS-Ag is examined. The radius of the excitation path is evaluated in relation to the energy of the α-particles. Corrections are introduced into the relationship between the scintillation amplitude and the excitation density which deviates from the 3/2 law.
