Abstract
Dielectric loss angle, permittivity, and conductivity data from measurement on quartz under gamma irradiation from Co60 are reported in this paper. It is shown that increases are observed in capacitance, dielectric loss angle, and conductivity, and a momentary drop in current in single-crystal quartz specimens under the action of gamma rays.
