Abstract
An algorithm for the exact computation of the frequency responses of linear interval systems is obtained. For the computation a sectoring stage is added to an elimination algorithm to eliminate interior curves. It is shown that the intersection of a ray and the frequency response set is an empty set or a line segment whose endpoints are extrema of the functions defined. Required mathematical analysis tools for the development of the sectoring algorithm and an illustrative example are provided.
