Summary

  1. 1.

Absorption-spectra curves have been obtained for solutions of the copper “biuret” complexes of vegetable and animal proteins isolated by various methods.

  2. 2.

It has been shown that protein prolo-acids comprise more homogeneous fractions than protein preparations obtained by other methods.

  3. 3.

A possible structure for the copper “biuret” complex of a microstructural protein fragment has been suggested.
