Summary
It will be shown, that a Polaron-like asymptotic is given for a class of functions which are called “of decreasing interaction and nicely approximable with respect to the Wiener process”. Using Large Deviation techniques one can see, that the asymptotics for thestrong coupling limit for those Polaron models is given by a “meanfield” model and can be described by a variational problem.
