On the theory of elementary analysis by X-ray absorption

Summary

The theory for dichromatic X-ray absorption analysis using a reference system is presented. This method makes it possible to increase the contrast in the microradiograms thus facilitating the localization of different biological structures in the absorption images. Proper corrections for the influence of reradiation are introduced in the absorption formulae. Actual calculations for the influence of reradiation at analyses of calcium and phosphorus have been performed for different kinds of mineralized tissues.
