Zusammenfassung

Die Massenspektren der untersuchten Kawa-Lactone sind je nach ihrem Hydrierungsgrad deutlich verschieden. Beim Typ des Kawains tritt ein unerwartetes Fragment auf, das formal einer Spaltung an der Stelle der Styryl-Doppelbindung entspricht.

Abstract

The mass spectra of the kawa lactones differ markedly according to their degree of hydrogenation. An unexpected fragmentation occurs in the kawaine type, where a fragment arises which corresponds formally to cleavage at the position of the styrol double bond.
