Determination of aroma substances in spalter hops by gaschromatography-mass spectrometry

Summary

The volatiles of Spalter hops were concentrated by destillation-extraction, separated by liquid-solid chromatography and characterized by capillary gas chromatography-mass spectrometry. 125 constituents (terpenes, sesquiterpenes, esters, alcohols, acids) were identified and semiquantified.

Zusammenfassung

Aromastoffe von Spalter Hopfen wurden durch Destillation-Extraktion angereichert, adsorptionschromatographisch nach funktionellen Gruppen getrennt und mit der Methodik Capillargaschromatographie-Massenspektrometrie charakterisiert. Es konnten 125 Verbindungen (Terpene, Sesquiterpene, Ester, Ketone, Alkohole, Säuren) identifiziert und semiquantifiziert werden.
