Summary
-
1.
On heating triphenylaluminum with lithium, sodium and potassium in a hydrocarbon medium the complexes MAl(C6H5)4 and metallic aluminum are formed.
-
2.
On heating triphenylaluminum with lithium, sodium and potassium hydrides MA1(C6H5)3H complexes are obtained, where M = Li, Na or K.
