Summary
-
1.
1,2,3-Tris (2-cyanoethoxy)-propane is a selective phase for cis-trans. isomers of oxygen-containing compounds and hydrocarbons.
-
2.
In many cases the separating efficiency of the column with the liquid phase studied increases with an increase in the temperature at which the mixture is chromatographed.
-
3.
On changing the amount of the stationary phase the elution order of the components of the mixture can be altered; this is due to the effect of adsorptive interaction with the sorbent on partition chromatography.
