Microdetermination of primary amino groups in amino acids and polypeptides by gas chromatography

Summary

A gas chromatographic method has been developed for the microdetermination of primary amino groups in amino acids and polypeptides, permitting the determination of 0.07–0.4 mg of α-amino nitrogen with an error less than 0.5% in a period of time not exceeding 15 minutes.
