Summary
-
1.
Linear polymers containing the B-N bond were obtained by copolymerizing tri(ethylamino)boron with hexa-methylenediisocyanate; they were characterized.
-
2.
New linear organoboron polymers containing a borazole ring in the main polymer chain were obtained by copolymerizing boron-substituted borazoles with hexamethylenediisocyanate; it was found that the dimethylamino group attached to boron is a catalyst for this reaction.
