Summary
Neglecting diffusion in determining the velocity constants of elementary chemical processes by the flow method at low pressures leads to considerable errors. Using the experimental data of Avramenko and Kolesnikova, the coefficient of adsorption of oxygen atoms on a glass surface coated with potassium chloride has been determined.
