Conclusions
-
1.
Study has been made of the13C NMR spectra of various gem-dichlorocyclopropyl aryl ethers and their bridged system analogs, pgp-σπ-pπ coupling is not established in cyclopropyl ethers containing substituents capable of undergoing coupling.
-
2.
The conformations proposed for these compounds are quite consistent with the experimental data.
