Conclusions
-
1.
Equations have been developed relating the function covering adsorption wave front propagation under a rectangular adsorption isotherm and the kinetic function for the microporous formation. From these equations it is possible to determine the kinetic formation if the function covering propagation of the adsorption wave front is known from experimental data.
-
2.
The width of the adsorption wave front diminishes with the passage of time, a conclusion supported by the experimental data.
-
3.
Detailed calculations have been carried out on internal diffusion in biporous adsorbents with rectangular adsorption isotherms and various types of approximation kinetic functions in the microporous formations.
