Summary

  1. 1.

    Polyaluminexytetra(dimethylphenyldisiloxane) was synthesized.

  2. 2.

An investigation was made into the session of the Si-O-Al linkage by t hydrochloric aid on polyaluminoxytetra (dimethylphenyldisoloxane), nonaethylaluminoxytrisiloxane, and kaolin.

  3. 3.

A mechanism is proposed for the selection reaction, and it is shown that in polyaluminoxytetra (dimethylphenyldisoloxane) session of the linkage is more difficult than in nonethylaluminoxytrixiloxane and in kaolin as the result of the occurrence of a second, competing condensation reaction, which results in the formation of stable Si-O-Si linkage an thus limits the extent of the breakdown of polyaluminoxytetra(dimethylphenyldisiloxane).
