Summary

We have studied in this paper irrotational cnoidal waves at the interface of a two-fluid system over a toroidal channel of arbitrary cross section. Also we have discussed here interfacial cnoidal waves in a straight channel of arbitrary cross section. Further, we have worked out some special cases and it is found that the results of our analysis are in agreement withBenjamin [7] andLong [12] etc.
