Summary
-
1.
Polyesters of 3,3′-methylenedi-, 4,4′-metbylenedi-, and 4,4′-carbonyldibenzoic acids formed with eleven aliphatic glycols of varied structure were synthesized and investigated.
-
2.
On the basis of the results, conclusions are drawn concerning the effect of the structures of the original components on the properties of the polyester.
