Zusammenfassung

Ein Überblick wird gegeben über die bedeutendsten Fortschritte auf dem Gebiet der analytischen Chemie während der letzten 50 Jahre. Dazu wurden zwei verschiedene Verfahren ausgewertet: eine Fragebogen-Umfrage unter einer Gruppe international bekannter Fachleute, sowie eine Zusammenstellung von Arbeiten nach ihrer Zitierhäufigkeit.

Summary

Topical advances in analytical chemistry during the last 50 years have been reviewed by two different approaches: one based on a questionnaire survey of the opinion of a special peer group, and the other based on the compilation of a “most-cited” papers list.
