Abstract
Processes of thermal destruction and phase formation occurring in sol-gel compositions of the Al203 - ZrO2 - SiO2, system during heat treatment are investigated. It is shown that the most uniform phase composition is exhibited in the case of a 3-to-1 Al2O3-to-SiO2 ratio with 20 wt.% ZrO2 in the form of an oxynitrate salt.
