Summary
-
1.
The σ- and π -electron charges of bonds in ethylene, allene and benzene were calculated.
-
2.
With the aid of the calculated values of the π-electron charges of C-C bonds, C-C bond lengths were calculated for these three compounds. The results of the calculation are in satisfactory agreement with experimental data.
