Summary
-
1.
The syntheses were effected of new polymeric substances, i. e., polyorganostannosiloxanes and poly organotitanosiloxanes, the chains of which contain not only siloxane links
but also
and
links.
-
2.
It was shown that
and
links in polyorganostanno- and polyorganotitanosiloxanes are broken down by strong sulfuric acid.
-
3.
It was found that polyorganostanno- and polyorganotitanosiloxanes are soluble in organic solvents. The fractional compositions of these products were studied, and it was shown that they are cocondensation products.
