Abstract
A chloro-derivative of undecaosmium carbido cluster [Os11C(CO)27(µ-Cl)]-1 anion has been prepared and fully characterized by spectroscopic and crystallographic methods. The structure1 is an important intermediate for the conversion of [Os11C(CO)27]2 2 dianion to [OS10C(CO)24]2-3 dianion.
