Summary

  1. 1.

    The reaction of vinyl ethers with acetals was extended to ethynylvinyl alkyl ethers and mixed alkylphenyl acetals.

  2. 2.

    Five alkoxy- and phenoxyalkanes, not previously described in the literature, were isolated and characterized.
