Summary

  1. 1.

    The interaction of vinyl phenyl ether with triethylsilanol and that of vinyl butyl ether with 4-ethyldimethylsilyl-buten-1-ol-3 were studied.

  2. 2.

    Phenyltriethylsilyl acetal and n-butyl(1-vinyl-2-dimethylethylsilylethyl)acetal were prepared for the first time.
