    The aluminous region of the ternary system BeO-Al2O3-SiO2 was studied.

  2. 2.

    Formation of a new compound 3BeO · Al2O3 was established.

  3. 3.

    A correction was introduced intwthe phase diagram of the system BeO-Al2O3 by plotting the limit of stability of the compound 3BeO · Al2O3.
