Summary

  1. 1.

    A study has been made of the copolymerization of methyl methacrylate with alkyl vinyl ethers in presence of benzoyl peroxide at various monomer ratios.

  2. 2.

    Copolymers of methyl methacrylate with alkyl vinyl ethers have been prepared.

  3. 3.

    It has been shown that, in presence of benzoyl peroxide, copolymerization may be effected between alkyl vinyl ethers and compounds containing the system of double bonds:-C=C-C=O.

  4. 4.

    In the copolymerization of methyl methacrylate with alkyl vinyl ethers in presence of benzoyl peroxide, no polymers of methyl methacrylate were detected.
