A study of the lectins ofDatura innoxia seeds II. deglycosylation with trifluoromethane sulfonic acid

Abstract

Lectins I1 and I2 of Datura innoxia, which are glycoproteins glycosylated to a very high degree, have been deglycosylated completely by the use of trifluoromethanesulfonic acid. The deglycosylated lectins retained their hemagglutinating activity.
