Abstract
Starting from benzyl-2.3-di-O-acetyl-4.6-di-O-tosyl-β-d-gluco-pyranoside, benzyl-3.6-dideoxy-6-acetamido-β-d-xylo-hexopyranoside (3 a) was obtained via the 6-azido-derivative (1) and the corresponding 3.4-anhydro-6-azido-d-galactoside (2 a) by subsequent LiAlH4-reduction. Its hydrogenation yielded 3.6-dideoxy-6-acetamido-d-xylo-hexose (4) and its periodate degradation 2.5-dideoxy-5-acetamido-d-threo-pentose (5). Various intermediates are described.
Zusammenfassung
Ausgehend von Benzyl-2.3-di-O-acetyl-4.6-di-O-tosyl-β-d-gluco-pyranosid wurde mittels bekannter Reaktionen über die entsprechende 6-Azidoverbindung (1) das 3.4-Anhydro-6-azido-derivat (2 a) und daraus durch Lithiumalanatreduktion das Benzyl-3.6-didesoxy-6-acetamino-β-d-xylo-hexopyranosid (3 a) gewonnen. Durch Hydrierung wurde daraus 3.6-Didesoxy-6-acetamino-d-xylo-hexose (4) und durch anschließenden Perjodatabbau 2.5-Didesoxy-5-acetamino-d-threo-pentose (5) erhalten. Eine Reihe von Zwischenprodukten wird beschrieben.
