Zusammenfassung

1-Methoxycarbonyl-2-hydroxy-chinolizinon-(4) (1), welches aus 2-Pyridylessigsäureester und C3O2 zugänglich ist, kann in einer vierstufigen Reaktionsfolge in (±)-Lupinin übergeführt werden.

Abstract

1-Methoxycarbonyl-2-hydroxy-quinolizin-4-one (1), readily obtained by the addition of carbon suboxide (C3O2) to methyl 2-pyridylacetate, has been converted by a 4 step synthesis to (±)-lupinin.
