Mathematical modeling of heat exchange in the production of hollow cylindrical glass articles

Abstract

An algorithm for calculating composite radiative-convective heat exchange in the production of glass tubes is presented. Results of a numerical calculation of the temperature of the tube wall and the air inside the tube and the values of the heat flows removed from the external and internal surfaces of the tube are presented.
